On August 25-26, the Czech Republic will host Castle Night (Hradozámecká noc), during which tourists will be able to visit about one hundred historic castles across the country.
The event was organized by the Czech National Heritage Institute and the country's Ministry of Culture, reports our correspondent. Travel.ru. Hundreds of ancient castles located in Prague, Bohemia, Pardubice, Moravia, Karlovy Vary, Pilsen, and other cities and regions of the Czech Republic will open their doors to visitors in the evening. The main venue for this year's Castle Night will be Kynžvart Castle, located in the Karlovy Vary Region.
During the evening castle tours, tourists will explore the historic interiors, attend lectures, and participate in master classes. Concerts, knightly tournaments, and fairs will be held in the castle courtyards. Many castles will waive entrance fees for this night.
