The ski season at the Kolašin 1450 ski resort in eastern Montenegro begins on December 15. Despite the fact that the entire Montenegrin coastline is literally drenched in rain, snow is already lying in the mountains near the town of Kolasin – the snow cover on the ski slopes has reached 65 cm.
According to BalkanPro.ru, prices at the ski resort have remained the same as last year: a one-day ski pass costs €15 for adults and €11 for children. Ski equipment rentals have also remained the same.
Kolašin is one of Montenegro's two well-known winter resorts. Slightly further north is the resort of Žabljak, home to two ski resorts: Savin Kuk and Javorovača. In the 2017/18 season, a one-day ski pass for adults in Žabljak costs €8-12. An overnight ski pass costs €6.
