Craft beer will flow straight from the tap in rooms at a new hotel opening in Ellon, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Popular brewery BrewDog is preparing to open the UK's first beer hotel, called DogHouse.
The hotel will feature 26 loft-style rooms, according to the Independent. Each room will have a beer tap and a dedicated fridge displaying the brewery's entire lineup. BrewDog raised funds for the hotel from private investors, all of whom will be special guests of DogHouse.
According to the British Beer and Pub Association, 50% tourists visiting the UK make a point of visiting a pub, where they spend more money than locals. A Scottish brewery plans to combine accommodation and pub visits for guests of its new hotel. The hotel will open in less than a year, according to BrewDog.
