In the style of the 80s: the Week On Peak festival will be held at the Gorki Gorod resort in the first week of March

From March 2nd to 9th, the Gorki Gorod resort in Krasnaya Polyana will host a festival for all who love winter sports and prefer winter vacations.

The entire week will be spent in the relaxed atmosphere of the Alpine resorts of the 80s, accompanied by unobtrusive disco music. The preferred dress code is bright retro winter sports attire. The resort will be divided into thematic areas: sports, art, and emotions.

The festival will be of interest to families with children, beginners and experienced riders, and those who appreciate comfort and a great mountain getaway.

Sports

For freestyle skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, a snow park with lines of varying difficulty will be built in the unique mountain climate zone of Circus-2. Circus-2 will also offer a separate carving area for classic skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, where training courses, amateur competitions, and professional demonstration runs will be held.

For fans of fresh snow, a backcountry area will be set up in the Circus-3 zone, where festival guests will be able to obtain all the necessary equipment information, attend a lecture on avalanche safety, practice searching for avalanche transceivers on a special training ground, and test out ski touring gear.

Emotions&Arts

In addition to the active sports activities, the second cirque will offer guests a dedicated space for daily parties, screenings of the latest European and Russian films about freeskiing and new school, autograph sessions with athletes, master classes with action photographers and cameramen, an action school, and a photography exhibition. In addition to the high-altitude educational space, exhibitions, video screenings, and demonstrations by athletes will be held daily throughout the resort. The plan is to utilize as many of the resort's locations at all altitudes as possible for these venues.

Family

For those planning to attend the festival with their family, full-day children's ski and snowboard courses with competitions and entertainment will be organized. Ideal for active parents, parents can leave their children with professional instructors and create their own full-day sports program.

Training programs are tailored to each participant's skill level. Amateur competitions are held at the end of the course.

The entire resort will be divided into two sections—new school and classic—where everyone can find après-ski to suit their style and mood, immersing themselves in the atmosphere of the wild '80s. A distinctive feature of all the sports activities is their professional component. Festival participants will have the unique opportunity to see world-class professionals skiing.
