Nobody knows how old Santa Claus is, but it's his birthday again.

Fairytale characters from all over the country will gather in Veliky Ustyug to celebrate Father Frost's birthday and officially usher in winter, according to the Vologda Region Tourist Information Center.

Traditional holiday "Santa Claus's Birthday" will take place on November 18th at the Father Frost's House in Veliky Ustyug. The program includes more than a dozen events, which will take place not only at Father Frost's House but also throughout the city.

The celebration will begin at 12:00 PM with a theatrical performance on the estate's main stage. Guests will then see Father Frost meet Snegurochka from Kostroma, the Snowman and Mother Winter from the Arkhangelsk region, Ivan Tsarevich and Kikimora from the Kirov region, Alyosha Popovich and Tsar Berendey from the Yaroslavl region, Father Frost from Baikal, Tol Babai from Udmurtia, Kysh Babai from Tatarstan, and many others.

There will also be a laser and video projection show, "The House Where Dreams Come True." But the celebration doesn't end there. Visitors to the estate will be treated to the lighting of Russia's first New Year's tree. The show will mark the start of the winter season. Throughout the day, there will be tours of the estate, as well as games and activities.

The entrance fee for the celebration is 880 rubles. This price includes entry to Father Frost's estate, a tour of the Fairytale Trail, and all festive events. Father Frost's birthday in Veliky Ustyug has been named one of the top autumn tourist events in Russia.
