Everything for passengers, even date ice cream

Emirates Airlines is launching a sweet promotion at Dubai International Airport to kick off the summer tourism season.

From June 15 to September 31, the company's passengers will be offered free ice cream in the departure and transit areas of Terminal 3. Arriving and departing passengers will be treated signature Emperor ice cream, specially prepared by the carrier's own catering company.

Passengers will be able to choose from five ice cream flavors: chocolate, vanilla, date and Arabic coffee, mango sorbet, and lemon sorbet. Complimentary treats will be served daily during peak departure times: from midnight to 3:00 a.m., from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Approximately 2 million servings are planned to be distributed over a three-month period.

Currently, the airline's signature treat is only available in Premium Class on select flights to European destinations, as well as in its seven lounges at Dubai International Airport.

Emirates operates 15 weekly flights from Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport to Dubai. The cheapest roundtrip ticket as of late June is 29,049 rubles.
