In the Madrid suburb of Fuente del Fresno, 25 kilometers from the Spanish capital, the Desert City park has opened, which contains more than 250 species of cacti.<\/p>\n

Succulents from all over the world are located on an area of 16 thousand square meters, divided into their habitat zones: the Spanish "Los Monegros", the American "Arizona and Nevada", the Mediterranean "Tuscany", etc. Particularly heat-loving plants are in a closed pavilion, reports "Spain in Russian".<\/p>\n

Desert City Park combines a nature reserve, a botanical garden, a cactus shop and an educational center dedicated to everything related to these representatives of the flora. The park also hosts master classes. Entry to Desert City is free.<\/p>\n
