The name Dolomites was given to the massif for its similarity to the peaks of the Dolomite Alps in Italy. The dry rocky southern walls of the mountain are very popular with climbers, especially since the approach from the Uzunkol alpine camp to the walls takes a maximum of a day, if the load is heavy. At the foot of the walls are very beautiful Dolomite lakes, where the assault camp is set up, and tourists
spend the night before or after the simple Dolomites South pass, leading to the Chungurdzhar valley.

The entire massif from the Myrdy lakes, from the southwest, in autumn after snowfall.

Panorama of the Dolomites in summer.
