A tour of places associated with Russian President Vladimir Putin has been developed in Dresden. During the 90-euro city tour, visitors are shown a nondescript five-story building that houses Putin's former office apartment, a bar where he liked to relax after work, and a small mansion that once housed the KGB office in Dresden and now houses the city's Pedagogical Society.<\/p>\n

According to the BBC, the tour isn't popular. Residents of the "Putin" building say tourists visit them no more than a couple of times a year and don't bother them at all. When asked how the tourists learned Putin lived there, they reply, "From a guidebook."<\/p>\n

The future Russian president served in the territorial intelligence service in Dresden from 1985 to 1990. Officially, he held the position of director of the USSR-GDR Friendship House.<\/p>\n
