Finally, my long-time dream came true - to walk through the Himalayas to Everest! I didn't plan the trip for long, I just bought tickets to Kathmandu, packed my backpack and on the evening of February 22nd I found myself at Domodedovo airport and then on board a brand new AIRBUS A-380-800, which was heading to the transit airport in Dubai.<\/p>\n

The flight lasted five hours. During this time I managed to watch a movie, charge my phone, eat and sleep.<\/p>\n

I already met the dawn in Dubai in the Emirates A380 terminal.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

It's something unrealistically huge... and beautiful. And there are three terminals of this size.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Planes take off more often than trains run in the Moscow metro)<\/p>\n

I had six hours to change planes and I still managed to get some sleep.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

When there were two and a half hours left before departure, I decided to walk around the terminal and at the same time find my gate. And it was not for nothing that I went to look for my gate so early. As it turned out, boarding for the next plane, which would take me to Kathmandu, was carried out from another terminal. In general, I got separated from the main transit group upon arrival and was hanging out in the wrong terminal. I was taken to my place alone by bus, where I was already waiting to board the next flight. That terminal was much simpler.<\/p>\n

Finally, they announce boarding.<\/p>\n

We taxi onto the runway. In the distance, the world's tallest skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa, is visible.<\/p>\n
