Crimean Minister of Resorts and Tourism Vadim Volchenko identified the peninsula's 10 top attractions, RIA Novosti reported on Thursday, December 21.<\/p>\n

In an interview with the news agency, the Minister of Resorts and Tourism recommended that those who are not yet familiar with the peninsula, Be sure to visit the observation decks of the Crimean Bridge, the Kerch Fortress, the Karadag Mountains in Koktebel, Ai-Petri on the southern coast of Crimea, the Valley of Ghosts, the Foros Church, the "Little Jerusalem" hiking trail in Yevpatoria, Cape Tarkhankut, and the so-called Temple of the Sun in the foothills of Ilyas-Kaya. Interestingly, the famous "Swallow's Nest"\u2014the resort's signature attraction\u2014wasn't included in the minister's personal list.<\/p>\n

The head of the department also emphasized that Crimea has many more places worthy of tourists' attention. Generations of tourists come here, discovering new attractions each time.<\/p>\n

Let us recall that from January to November 2017, 5,180,500 people visited Crimea, which is 3.81% lower than the same figures for the previous year.<\/p>\n
