The popular tourist fortress of Montju\u00efc (Castell de Montju\u00efc), located on the hill of the same name in Barcelona, has opened to visitors part of the area where excavations were carried out from 2010 to 2017. The archaeologists' findings included old walls of a defensive structure, writes "Spain in Russian."<\/p>\n

Montju\u00efc Fortress attracts many foreigners (83,8% visitors). It can be reached via the park-like paths on Montju\u00efc Hill or by funicular, and the fortress offers stunning views of the Catalan capital. The castle houses an exhibition, a military history museum, and even a children's area.<\/p>\n
