However, starting this year, they will have to pay more for the pleasure of fishing.<\/p>\n<p>As Fontanka reports.<!--more-->fi, the cost of a Finnish fishing license for an year has increased from 39 to 45 euros, for a week \u2013 from 12 to 15 euros, and for a day \u2013 from 5 to 6 euros. <\/p>\n<p>Russians most often choose the Mikkeli region and the picturesque Lake Saimaa located there for fishing in neighboring Finland. In Finland, fishing is tax-free only with the simplest rod and natural bait\u2014no spinners or reels. More complex gear requires a permit. Free fishing is also possible for anglers under 18 or over 64.<\/p>\n<p>Not only fisheries inspectors but also local residents can check whether tourists have a fishing license.
