To make your plans come true and see the main attractions of the Tyumen region, you need to cheat a little and extend your weekend by just one day.<\/p>\n

I arrived in Tyumen early Friday, rented a car, and spent the rest of the day exploring Tyumen. First, I went to see the famous Tura River embankment.<\/p>\n

The uniqueness of this project lies in the fact that the Tura embankment in Tyumen has become the only four-level embankment in Russia:<\/p>\n

Very close by, on a hill on the right bank of the Tura River, is the Holy Trinity Monastery, founded in 1616 and one of the oldest architectural ensembles in Siberia:<\/p>\n
