Plans also include adding a new type to the fleet this year: the Boeing 777.<\/p>\n<p>\nAs reported last week, Rosaviatsia (the Federal Air Transport Agency) extended the validity of AZUR Air&#039;s air operator certificate until March 20. The decision followed an inspection conducted by Rosaviatsia in December 2017, which revealed &quot;inconsistencies and deficiencies in the air carrier&#039;s operations related to maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft and flight operations,&quot; the agency reported.<\/p>\n<p>\nOn Wednesday, Rosaviatsiya head Alexander Neradko announced that AZUR Air intends to apply for the lifting of restrictions as early as next week.
