A mass strike in France, which began on Thursday, March 22, will disrupt rail and air travel, according to LeParisien.<\/p>\n

Experts predict the onset of a "Black Thursday" in the transport and public services sector in Paris and elsewhere on March 22 French cities. On this day, a major strike will take place among civil servants, as well as railway and air transport workers. The French intend to express their dissatisfaction with labor law reforms.<\/p>\n

Train schedules will be severely disrupted. Many rail companies are joining the protests, including TGV, Intercites, and TER. In the \u00cele-de-France region, only the 30% rolling stock will be on service. The protest will also affect the RER, the rapid transit system serving Paris and the surrounding suburbs. Passengers on lines D, C, and B will experience disruptions.<\/p>\n

According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, 30% flights departing and arriving at Orly, Roissy, and Beauvais airports have been cancelled due to the strike. Air traffic disruptions may continue on Friday, March 23.<\/p>\n

Aeroflot, the Russian airline, has already cancelled flights SU2462\/2463 from Sheremetyevo to Charles de Gaulle Airport, scheduled for March 22. The carrier also replaced the aircraft on another Thursday flight from Charles de Gaulle to Sheremetyevo with a more spacious Airbus A321. This was done to accommodate passengers on the cancelled flights.<\/p>\n
