Russian tourists can now obtain a one-year multiple-entry visa (previously, visas were valid for a maximum of six months, and were most often issued for the duration of the trip).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reports that visa application processing times have been reduced. Previously, documents took a week to process, but now they only take three days. Another new feature: Russians will be able to cancel existing visas they no longer need and obtain new ones in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Several new regulations will help tour operators reduce the time it takes to obtain visas for clients. For example, a voucher from each hotel along the route is no longer required for organized tourists from Russian regions.<\/p>\n<p>According to Association of Tour Operators (ATOR), demand for Portugal in the Russian tourism market is growing.
