Emirates Airlines is offering its passengers an unusual service: check-in and baggage drop-off at home, according to Gulf News Aviation.<\/p>\n

The service is called Home Check-in. Upon prior request, airline employees will visit the passenger at home or, for example, at a hotel. They check him in for the flight, issue a boarding pass, and tag and collect his luggage, which they themselves deliver to the airport and place in his luggage.<\/p>\n

To use the service, immediately after purchasing a ticket, you must complete an application on the airline's website and book Home Check-in. Afterward, airline staff will contact the passenger to confirm the service. Between 48 and 7 hours before departure, a check-in agent will arrive at the designated location. Upon arrival at the airport, the passenger will proceed directly to border control and pre-flight security.<\/p>\n

The new service is available to passengers of all travel classes. The offer is available to Emirates customers departing from Dubai. The service costs AED 350 (approximately \u00a3951) for up to seven pieces of baggage. Any additional baggage will incur a fee of AED 35 (approximately \u00a391). Home Check-in can be booked up to 12 hours before departure.<\/p>\n
