The Alpika slope, which will reopen its slopes from April 29 to May 6, helped set a personal best. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/6056936050b412730c0cfa194de2cf15.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cThe weather in the Sochi mountains has allowed us to extend the ski season, so the upcoming <!--more-->&quot;Tourists will be able to ski this weekend,&quot; the resort&#039;s press service commented. &quot;Spring in the mountains is especially pleasant not only for skiing but also for sunbathing, so we recommend remembering to bring sunscreen.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>\nThe Gazprom Mountain Tourism Center opened the Alpika slope in December 2017 following a comprehensive renovation of the legendary resort. During the ski season, five trails were available for experienced riders: three red and two black runs, totaling over 7.5 km in length, with an elevation gain of up to 1,156 meters.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe Alpika slopes are open from April 29 to May 6. The slope will be open for tours until May 9 (inclusive). Viewing platforms are located at altitudes of 1,500 and 2,256 meters. On a clear day, you can even see the Black Sea from the Priyut Vetrov (Shelter of the Winds).<\/p>\n<p>\nFrom May 10 to June 9, the Alpika slope&#039;s cable cars will undergo maintenance.
