\nThis is probably one of the most architecturally terrifying cities in the world. Most of the 19 million city was built in the 70s.<\/p>\n

There are several FREE viewpoints for tourists.<\/p>\n

"Beautiful" views from the 40-story Banespa skyscraper in the center of the old city<\/p>\n

The city itself is interesting in its details.<\/p>\n

Overall, the building itself and the neighboring banks are interesting - they are old and very reminiscent of the New York ones (built in 1947)<\/p>\n

Entry is free, but for 5 minutes and 6 people (the site is very small) - it is better to come at opening<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Almost all such places and a number of museums require a passport, any bags are left in a storage room<\/p>\n

There's an expensive restaurant and jazz bar up here, but you can go in for free during the day from 3pm to 4pm.<\/p>\n

The rest of the time the entrance is 10 bucks (30 reals) + the bill (a glass of wine is about another 10$, dishes from 25$, the evening atmosphere is priceless<\/p>\n
