It is located in a restored historic building\u2014the former caretaker&#039;s cottage of the Suvorov Museum.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The collection of tin soldiers that forms the core of the museum&#039;s exhibition was assembled over decades, according to the St. Petersburg administration&#039;s press service. In total, the museum, which chronicles the history of tin miniatures, houses over 60,000 figurines. <\/p>\n<p>The museum consists of six halls. One features a grand scale model of &quot;Suvorov&#039;s Crossing of the Alps,&quot; another has been converted into a puppet theater, and a third displays dioramas telling the history of the Russian army.
