{"id":45512,"date":"2018-06-06T10:01:06","date_gmt":"2018-06-06T07:01:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.prestigtours.com\/analitika\/v-kakih-stranah-vliianie-ota-osobenno-silno.html"},"modified":"2018-06-06T10:01:06","modified_gmt":"2018-06-06T07:01:06","slug":"v-kakih-stranah-vliianie-ota-osobenno-silno","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.prestigtours.com\/en\/analitika\/v-kakih-stranah-vliianie-ota-osobenno-silno","title":{"rendered":"In which countries is OTA&#039;s influence particularly strong?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<strong>In Switzerland, Italy and Greece, the OTA booking system Priceline (part of Booking Holdings Inc.) had the highest market share in Europe last year \u2014 75.6%, 75.53% and 72.91%, respectively, according to a new study of the European hotel market, <!--more-->initiated by the European Institute of Tourism and the Association <\/strong><strong>Hotrec<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/5e9797f77a72787086e06bf59a305c21.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe fourth and fifth places in terms of company influence are occupied by the Czech Republic and the Netherlands \u2013 70,73% and 66,96% respectively.<\/p>\n<p>\nAccording to the study, Expedia&#039;s share is particularly high in Sweden (30.1%), Norway (29.77%) and Spain (26.6%), as well as France (23.22%) and Finland (23%).<\/p>\n<p>\nAs we reported earlier, at the end of 2017, the three main OTA market players were leaders in the industry, including Booking Holdings Inc., Expedia Group and HRS. <strong>The combined market share of these players is 92%.
