On June 10, the summer season began at the Gazprom mountain tourism center, located in the village of Esto-Sadok in the Sochi mountains. New eco-trails and bike routes have opened, and tourists can take a buggy ride to Russia's highest-altitude banya or go on a hike accompanied by huskies. For the first time, the resort is opening the G chairlift this summer, allowing tourists to enjoy the magnificent scenery.<\/p>\n

According to Sochi.com, the 2- and 2.5-kilometer hiking trails will wind through a fir forest, with stops at observation platforms. The routes start at the Psekhako and Pikhtovy mountain huts (Laura slope).<\/p>\n

The routes are equipped with benches and information boards explaining the flora and fauna of the Caucasus Biosphere Reserve. The routes pass by a husky park and a reindeer farm.<\/p>\n

Additionally, on June 14, a Football Park will open at the Rosa Khutor resort in Sochi's mountain cluster. A large screen will be installed in the resort's main square, allowing everyone to watch the World Cup opening ceremony and the first match. Competitions for tourists, a drum show, and a concert are also planned. The Football Park will be open until July 15.<\/p>\n
