Starting July 26, Aeroflot will increase the fuel surcharge on domestic flights by 200\u2013400 rubles, following the lead of a number of foreign carriers. Other Russian airlines are still <!--more-->They&#039;re not talking about it, but they acknowledge that ticket prices will inevitably rise. The tourism industry expects that if the trend continues during the winter season, package tour airfare prices could increase by 10%, Kommersant reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/48718c96f3f2f3d977002efc387bc769.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\nAeroflot will increase fuel surcharges on domestic flights for all its airlines (except Pobeda, which is not under the carrier&#039;s commercial management) starting July 26, according to a letter from the carrier to travel agents (Kommersant has seen the document). The increase will be 200 rubles per flight segment for economy and comfort class, and 400 rubles for business class. The increase could affect all bookings made on or after July 26. Aeroflot declined to comment.<\/p>\n<p>\nOneTwoTrip and Biletix confirmed receipt of the letter. Biletix says it does not plan to offset the increased surcharge; the carrier&#039;s ticket prices will increase by the amount of the surcharge. Kommersant&#039;s sources in the travel industry add that a number of foreign airlines have also announced fuel surcharge increases of \u20ac20-\u20ac40 on international flights.
