On August 10th and 11th, the spectacular "Night of Light" festival will take place in Gatchina, near St. Petersburg. After sunset, the Gatchina Palace and Park complex will transform into a light art gallery. This year, the festival will feature dozens of lighting engineers and artists, and for the first time, it will span two nights instead of one.<\/p>\n

The 2018 festival's theme is "Paradox." Gatchina Park is preparing to become a space for artistic performances and video mapping, hosting over 30 light installations and art objects, according to the organizers of "Night of Light in Gatchina." The festival will also feature a video art competition, "Impossible Worlds." <\/p>\n

Every year, the "Night of Lights in Gatchina" grows in popularity among St. Petersburg residents and tourists. This year, the festival is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors.<\/p>\n
