This summer, tourists vacationing at resorts on Montenegro's Adriatic coast can visit Dubrovnik, Croatia, without having to wait hours at border crossings. A catamaran now operates between Budva and the port of Gru\u017e in Dubrovnik six days a week.<\/p>\n

According to BalkanPro.ru, the boat trip between the two Balkan resorts takes three hours. For tourists, it's a pleasant boat trip along the picturesque coastline.<\/p>\n

The catamaran departs from the pier near Budva's Old Town on Mondays and Tuesdays at 7:45 AM, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 PM, and on Sundays at 10:00 AM. Trips from Dubrovnik depart on Mondays at 6:00 PM, on Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:45 AM, on Thursdays at 7:00 AM, and on Sundays at 8:00 PM. This schedule is valid until August 15th, after which it is subject to change.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Russian tourists require a Croatian national visa or a Schengen visa to visit Croatia. Also, under a special agreement between countries applying for Schengen accession, Croatia can be entered with multiple-entry national visas from Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Romania.<\/p>\n
