Our first departure from Brussels.<\/p>\n

The largest and closest city is Antwerp.<\/p>\n

First acquaintance with Dutch-speaking Flanders.<\/p>\n

Before preparing for Belgium, I somehow thought that Antwerp was Holland, because (from school) it was the Dutch bourgeois revolution. But now I know for sure that it is Belgium, although very Dutch.<\/p>\n

The train from Brussels Central Station to Antwerp Central Station departs 3-4 times an hour, so there is no need to adjust to the schedule.<\/p>\n

The Brussels suburbs flashed by, the well-kept smooth fields and we were at the beautiful Antwerp Central Station.<\/p>\n

Station Centraal is definitely worth a visit.<\/p>\n

"In 2009, Antwerp-Centraal was ranked fourth in the ranking of the most beautiful train stations in the world."<\/p>\n
