In mid-October, the DAU artist group will recreate a section of the Berlin Wall as an art piece in Berlin, according to the Associated Press. The wall will be erected in mid-October for four weeks. The structure will be removed on November 9. <\/p>\n

Visitors to the art site will be required to purchase visas. For \u20ac15 (approximately 1,200 rubles). Upon entry, everyone will be required to exchange their mobile phones for smartphones containing personalized tour instructions, documentaries, exhibitions, and concerts.<\/p>\n

"Artists aren't interested in recreating East Germany in a Disney-style," said Thomas Oberender, a representative of the Berliner Festspiele, which organizes cultural events. He explained that the organizers want to recreate the atmosphere of a state in which everyone feels the lack of freedom.<\/p>\n

The real Berlin Wall was destroyed on November 9, 1989. For 28 years, it separated the territories of the FRG and the GDR. <\/p>\n
