Another earthquake has struck the Indonesian island of Lombok. Experts are describing it as "very strong," Tribun Bali reports.<\/p>\n

Early on Tuesday morning, September 11, 50 kilometers northeast of the city of Mataram on the coast of Lombok Island A magnitude 5.3 earthquake occurred. Seismologists estimated the epicenter to be at a depth of 10 kilometers. The intensity of the shaking was rated as "very strong." Residents of Mataram, as well as some areas of East and North Lombok, said the tremors were felt for several seconds.<\/p>\n

There are currently no reports of damage caused by the earthquake. Authorities are also not issuing any tsunami warnings. Experts advise everyone in the affected area to remain calm.<\/p>\n

In early August, Lombok Island experienced a series of powerful earthquakes, killing approximately 500 people. Nearly 8,000 people were injured, and tens of thousands of homes and other buildings were destroyed. More than 2,000 tourists were evacuated.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that this island is popular among vacationers due to its proximity to the popular resorts of Bali and Gili Islands.<\/p>\n
