Its exhibition consists of the most controversial dishes from around the world. In particular, the museum will exhibit a dish of rotten shark meat, considered a delicacy in Iceland, the famous fruit of Southeast Asia durian, banned in public transport in Singapore and in hotels in Thailand.

In addition, visitors will be able to see a bull penis, canned pickled herring from Sweden, fried guinea pig from Peru, and cheese with maggots from Sardinia on the museum's cutting boards. Most of the museum's exhibits will be placed in special medical vessels designed to contain the unpleasant odor. The museum's organizers have decided to abandon plastic copies of the dishes on display in favor of real food. Therefore, half of the exhibits are planned to be changed every other day.

As the museum's creator Samuel West noted, the museum promises to be fun, interesting and interactive. In addition, the exhibition will try to teach people to treat things that cause disgust differently.

The Museum of Disgusting Food will be open until the end of January 2019. The entrance fee is 185 Swedish kronor (about 1,350 rubles).

Source: news.turizm.ru

Photo: The Idependent.
