\nAt the moment, sales to Turkey are already open at a number of major players. However, experts note that this year, early booking of tours to this country is not as active as last year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nOne of the first to launch sales of tours to Turkey for the summer season was the tour operator TEZ Tour. The early booking promotion will last until March 2019. The maximum benefit will be 50%. The tour operator noted that they plan to increase volumes in Turkey within 15 - 20%. Flights will be carried out from 18 Russian regions, the hotel base will be replenished with new hotels. The first flight to Antalya will take place on March 30.<\/p>\n

\nTour sales to Turkey for the summer season of 2019 have already opened at the tour operator Biblio-Globus. However, as noted in the company's press service, contracting with hotels is currently ongoing, so the company plans to announce the start of early booking a little later. The maximum sales depth for Turkey at Biblio Globus currently reaches June 2019.<\/p>\n

\nMeanwhile, the travel retail industry is drawing attention to the low interest of tourists in purchasing tours to Turkey under early booking promotions. According to Aleksan Mkrtchyan, director of the Pink Elephant travel agency network, one of the reasons for the almost complete lack of demand is tourists\u2019 concerns about the fulfillment of obligations by tour operators. \u201cLast year, the situation was extraordinary. We could already book tours to Turkey in October. The demand was colossal. However, closer to the season, tour operators, having overestimated the demand, began to cut their flight programs. Which naturally affected tourists. This year, clients are more cautious. They have adopted a wait-and-see attitude. And, probably, the peak of sales will be in February,\u201d the expert said.<\/p>\n

\nElena Simakina, director of the company "Ostrov Fantaziy", also notices this trend. According to her, it is impossible to talk about high activity of booking Turkey, or even about average. "We have only had a couple of calls regarding Turkey. Now, sales of New Year tours are actively underway. After that, tourists will start thinking about summer vacations," she noted.<\/p>\n

\nIn general, experts predict that demand for summer Turkey will be comparable to last year's volumes. And they expect the peak of sales of summer tours for early booking not earlier than the beginning of February. Now tourists are more interested in winter and spring holidays.<\/p>\n
