Last year, however, growth <!--more-->The number of queries for this destination was 89.31% (31.31). Overall, the more moderate trend in interest in Turkey is not a one-off, but a characteristic trend for 2018. For example, roughly the same number of our compatriots are planning to celebrate the upcoming winter holidays in this country as last year, with an increase of only 31.31%. Last year, the same figure was 68.1% (31.31). Currently, we can speak, if not of a shift in Russians&#039; priorities, then certainly of a stabilization of interest in this destination.<\/p>\n<p>\nCurrently, we&#039;ve recorded a price increase of only 5% for flights to Turkey for the upcoming beach season, spring 2019. As for hotels, they&#039;re mostly rising in resorts: the cost of a five-star accommodation in Antalya has increased by 19%, and in Bodrum by 10.4%. Meanwhile, in Istanbul, prices have risen by 4.5%. If fears of further price increases are realized, some Turkish travelers will likely switch to other resorts. However, it won&#039;t necessarily be Egypt.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe situation with this country is mixed. For example, during the summer of 2018, we recorded a slight decline in interest in the destination (-13%). However, if we look at a broader period\u2014from January to October 2018\u2014it turns out that demand for trips to Africa&#039;s most popular country increased by 97%. However, even with this two-fold increase, this country still can&#039;t compete with Turkey.
