The chef of the Maldivian hotel Angsana Velavaru is announcing a competition for the best borscht recipe for a New Year's dinner. The winner of the competition will receive a two-night stay for two. This was reported by the press service of the accommodation facility.<\/p>\n

According to hotel representatives, Orthodox Christmas on January 6 at the 5-star Angsana Velavaru Hotel on Turtle Island, a Russian-style dinner is planned. The menu will feature dishes from our national cuisine, and the main hit will be borscht.<\/p>\n

The hotel administration has decided to announce a competition for the recipe of the best borscht in the world. To participate, you must send your signature recipe to the address: borsch2019@gmail.com before December 20, 2019. An expert jury of hotel chefs will carefully study the materials sent, prepare soups based on them and, as a result of blind testing, choose the best one. The winner will be announced on the hotel's Facebook page before December 30, 2018.<\/p>\n

Angsana Velavaru is located on Velavaru Island. It offers luxurious private villas with a private pool, located near the beach or on the water. On the Trip Advisor review site, guests especially praise the menu at local restaurants. One of them says: \u201cThe Mexican chef surprised us with his masterpieces at every dinner.
