This ski season, the popular Rosa Khutor resort in the Sochi mountains is offering a new option: a ski pass with an open first date. This is convenient for skiers who need to change their original plans for any reason.<\/p>\n

According to Interfax, open-dated ski passes can be valid for one day, two days, or three days in a row. When purchasing, you select one of four preset periods during which you can activate your electronic ski pass. These periods include "high season" (until December 28th or from January 8th to April 7th), "peak season" (from December 29th to January 7th), or "spring season" (from April 8th to April 22nd).<\/p>\n

"New this season is a ski pass with an open first skiing date. Now, the ski pass isn't tied to a specific day, so if the weather turns bad or you're feeling unwell, you can adjust your schedule to fully utilize your ski pass without wasting a single precious minute," the resort's press service told Interfax-Yug on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The cost of an open-dated ski pass for an adult will range from 3,150 to 8,200 rubles during the high season, depending on its validity period; from 3,650 to 9,500 rubles during the peak season; and from 1,950 to 5,100 rubles in the spring.<\/p>\n

Rosa Khutor offers a competitive "Getting Started" rate for beginners, priced at 1,900 rubles, which includes a training ski pass, equipment rental, and a lesson with an instructor. The ski and snowboard school has also introduced a new rate for group lessons for beginners: 990 rubles for two hours.<\/p>\n
