\n"Statement of claim of Moscow The Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office's complaint against Pobeda Airlines LLC has been accepted for review. Preparation for the lawsuit against Pobeda Airlines LLC is scheduled for January 28 at 2:00 PM Moscow time, the court stated, according to TASS. However, in December 2018, the court dismissed the complaint pending the prosecutor's office's correction of the violations.<\/p>\n

\nAs a reminder, low-cost airline Pobeda introduced paid check-in at international airports on October 28. The airline explained at the time that this measure was necessary to avoid increasing ticket prices. However, the airline disagrees with the prosecutor's office's claims, stating that "introducing a fee for agent check-in at the airport is a long-standing global practice" and "it is inappropriate to include the cost of the check-in service in the fare if customers want to save money and check in themselves," Interfax reports.<\/p>\n

\nAccording to the company, approximately 85% of all Pobeda customers flying from international airports have already checked in online for free.<\/p>\n
