\nOn January 20, the Gorki Gorod resort, in partnership with the International Ski Federation (FIS) and with the support of the Olympic Training Center, will host Snow Day\u2014a large-scale celebration for children and adults.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWorld Snow Day is an annual event, which has been celebrated since 2012. The holiday also has another name: International Winter Sports Day. Every year, dozens of countries around the world celebrate Snow Day to promote interest in active recreation and traditional winter sports.<\/p>\n

\nIn Russia, World Snow Day coincides with the All-Russian Snow Day. Traditionally, this day is accompanied by a veritable "snow festival."<\/p>\n

\nThis year's Snow Day at Gorki Gorod Resort features several sporting events for professionals and amateurs: a family obstacle course relay race and a slalom-boom competition. Between relay races, participants will enjoy exciting contests from the entertainment staff and a cover band performance.<\/p>\n

\nApplications for participation in the "Amateur" category are accepted and confirmed at the competition flight office at 5 Gornaya Karusel Street, Information Center of the Gorki Gorod resort.<\/p>\n

\nParticipants in the competition must submit the following documents to the admission committee: passport or birth certificate, compulsory medical insurance policy, doctor's clearance certificate or personal written confirmation of personal responsibility for their own health, life and health insurance policy (original) against accidents.<\/p>\n
