And starting January 20, non-refundable train tickets will go on sale. However, not for all destinations and not for all trains. Travel service Tutu.ru asked tourists how they feel about this initiative.<!--more--><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/d3ce1b5300021f7a4271eb3997f3c21c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\nAs shown by the survey, in which about 2 thousand people took part, the majority (70%) support the innovation. Of these, 4% said that the idea is excellent, and they will gladly buy such tickets. And 66% admitted that they will choose non-refundable tickets only if they are significantly cheaper than regular ones. According to Russian Railways, the cost of non-refundable tickets will be lower than the cost of refundable ones by 5\u201320%. The size of the discount will depend on the type of carriage and the period of travel.<\/p>\n<p>Almost a quarter of respondents (24%) chose the option \u201cI don\u2019t like this idea at all.\u201d 6% said they would not buy non-refundable tickets because of their frequently changing plans.<\/p>\n<p>\nSurvey data: &quot;How do you feel about the introduction of non-refundable train tickets?&quot;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n66% is a great idea, I would be happy to buy them;<\/li>\n<li>\n4% - I&#039;ll buy them if they&#039;re significantly cheaper than regular tickets;<\/li>\n<li>\n24% - I don&#039;t like this idea at all;<\/li>\n<li>\n6% - Non-refundable tickets are not suitable for me: plans change frequently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nEarlier, Tutu.ru found out the attitude of travelers towards low-cost airlines. The survey showed that a third of passengers refuse to fly low-cost airlines because of Spartan conditions. In general, the majority of respondents (51%) admitted that they fly low-cost airlines. The rest, for various reasons, prefer regular carriers. A third (27%) of voters chose the option \u201cI don\u2019t fly because the flight conditions are too Spartan.\u201d 23% answered that they don\u2019t fly low-cost airlines because they don\u2019t want to deal with all the intricacies and extra charges. Of those who choose to travel by low-cost airline, 48% are sure that it helps them save on air tickets.
