The Malta Tourism Authority told TRN this.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/2e19e3871fb30e87377cde094bf45e4e.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cSince the beginning of April 2019 <!--more-->&quot;Air Malta operates three flights a week from Sheremetyevo Airport on Wednesdays and weekends, with an additional flight added on Mondays starting June 10. This brings the airline&#039;s Moscow-Malta service to four. Residents of St. Petersburg will be able to take advantage of direct flights twice a week (on Thursdays and Sundays) until the end of September,&quot; the department explained.<\/p>\n<p>\nIncidentally, between November 2018 and March 2019, Malta International Airport handled over two million passengers, representing a 5.9% increase compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>\nThis growth was reflected not only in the increase in the number of air travel flights (+8.1%) but also in the increase in the number of seats on board (+7.6%).
