Travelers chose from ten options. Around 1,500 people participated in the survey.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/e9bd7ecd2854c4d2fc238fc22368d7eb.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\nHow <!--more-->The company&#039;s press service told TRN that for almost a third of respondents (29%), the most important factor is the price per room. It&#039;s more important than a hotel&#039;s convenient location. Proximity to the sea or attractions is a key factor for a quarter of travelers. 21% also pay attention to ratings, scores, and reviews.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe absence of compatriots at the hotel proved more important than free Wi-Fi. Criteria such as the all-inclusive system and free cancellation received equal votes.<\/p>\n<p>\nSurvey data &quot;<strong>What do you think is the most important thing when choosing a hotel?<\/strong>\u00ab:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n29% \u2014 price per room;<\/li>\n<li>\n24% - convenient location (close to the sea, attractions);<\/li>\n<li>\n21% \u2014 ratings, reviews;<\/li>\n<li>\n7% - absence of compatriots;<\/li>\n<li>\n6% \u2014 all-inclusive system;<\/li>\n<li>\n6% \u2013 free cancellation option;<\/li>\n<li>\n3% \u2014 free Wi-Fi;<\/li>\n<li>\n2% is the number of stars the hotel has;<\/li>\n<li>\n1% - animation and entertainment;<\/li>\n<li>\n1% \u2014 kids club\/playground;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nIncidentally, last year Tutu.ru surveyed travelers&#039; attitudes toward hotels with &quot;negative reputations.&quot; Users were asked, &quot;Are you willing to stay at hotels with bad reviews?&quot; 48% users responded that it all depends on what other travelers criticize about the hotel. For example, some aren&#039;t bothered by poor breakfasts or the distance from the city center, but they can&#039;t stand the noise outside. 39% respondents were more categorical, choosing the option &quot;If there are a lot of negative reviews, I won&#039;t stay at that hotel.&quot; 9% users are willing to overlook negative reviews if the price and accommodations are attractive.
