Fortunately, the travelers managed to contact friends in Russia, who, in turn, reported the incident to Thai authorities, The Nation writes.<\/p>\n<p>\nHowever, due to a storm, the rescue operation was postponed. The first two tourists were discovered by local fishermen, and the second kayak with the Russian travelers was found by rescuers on December 5.<\/p>\n<p>\nAccording to the publication, the tourists were exhausted due to a lack of fresh water and hunger.
