Utair Airlines plans to resume its second and third daily flights from Moscow to Rostov-on-Don. They will launch this spring, according to Travel.ru. <\/p>\n
The second flight, which will operate from March 29, will be a morning flight, in addition to the existing evening flight. Starting March 29, flights from Moscow (Vnukovo Airport) will depart at 7:10 and 20:10, arriving in Rostov at 9:05 and 22:00, respectively. Return flights will depart at 9:55 and 22:50, arriving in Moscow at 12:00 and 0:40. Starting May 11, a third daytime flight will be added: departing Moscow at 13:05, arriving in Rostov at 14:50. Return flights will depart at 15:40, arriving in Moscow at 17:30. <\/p>\n
The route uses a Boeing 737 aircraft. Summer flight prices start at 3,285 rubles one-way without baggage and 4,785 rubles with baggage. Round-trip fares start at 5,570 rubles without baggage and 8,570 rubles with baggage. <\/p>\n
The second and third flights were on Utair's schedule until the spring and fall of 2019, respectively. They were then cancelled, partly due to Utair's own fleet shortages and partly due to high service rates at the Rostov airport. It's possible that the resumption of the cancelled flights was prompted by the expected departure of Utair's main competitor, Pobeda Airlines, from this route at the end of March. <\/p>\n
Utair also plans to resume service to regional destinations from Rostov. Starting March 3, the company plans to fly three times a week to Volgograd and twice a week to Astrakhan. Starting March 30, it will add twice-weekly flights to Vladikavkaz. These routes will be served by an ATR-72 aircraft.<\/p>\n
