Aeroflot is considering resuming flights from Moscow to Chita this summer. Daily flights are tentatively scheduled to begin on June 1, according to Travel.ru.<\/p>\n

Departure from Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport) at 19:15, arrival in Chita at 7:35. Return departure at 8.50, arriving in Moscow at 9:40. The route will be operated by a Boeing 737.<\/p>\n

The minimum one-way fare currently available is 17,001 rubles without checked baggage and 20,251 rubles with checked baggage. Round-trip fares start at 27,102 and 32,102 rubles, respectively. <\/p>\n

It should be noted that due to the coronavirus epidemic and the unpredictability of the air travel situation in Russia and around the world, there is a significant risk that plans to launch this (and any other announced) route may be postponed or cancelled. <\/p>\n

A significant portion of Aeroflot's regional passengers typically transfer at Sheremetyevo to the company's international flights, but the likelihood of any significant international route restoration by early summer is already approaching zero. Transfers to domestic routes are also in question: no more than 101,300 flights are currently operating within Russia, and the prospects for a return to normal volumes are completely uncertain\u2014it certainly won't happen this summer.<\/p>\n
