RusLine Airlines plans to resume flights from St. Petersburg to Nizhny Novgorod next week. Flights will operate starting July 31 on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, according to Travel.ru.<\/p>\n

Departure from St. Petersburg at 16:40, arrival in Nizhny Novgorod at 18:30. The return flight departs at 7:15 p.m., arriving in St. Petersburg at 9:05 p.m. A Canadair Regional Jet CRJ-200 will be used on this route. <\/p>\n

The minimum ticket price (available mainly on Tuesdays) is 4,785 rubles. This includes only 5 kilograms of small carry-on baggage no larger than 40 x 30 x 20 centimeters. The 5,285-ruble option also includes 20 kilograms of checked baggage. On other days, the minimum price for each option is typically 500 rubles higher. <\/p>\n

Additionally, passengers are permitted to carry a handbag, briefcase, or backpack free of charge. However, RusLine tries to keep this information under wraps, omitting it from the booking system on its website. Furthermore, in violation of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR-82), the RusLine website states that a briefcase or handbag "must not exceed dimensions of 40x30x20 cm and a weight of no more than 5 kg." In reality, FAR prohibits airlines from limiting the size of these items. Passengers wishing to carry larger briefcases or handbags should have a printout of FAR-82 in case the airline attempts to illegally deny them free carriage. <\/p>\n

An additional 10 kilograms of carry-on baggage can be purchased for 1,500 rubles (although almost all passengers will find it easier to use a briefcase or purchase a baggage allowance). Seat selection starts at 350 rubles. Iraero also serves the St. Petersburg-Nizhny Novgorod route, with three flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.<\/p>\n
