St. Petersburg tour operator Matryoshka Tour has cancelled its flight programs to Israel and Bulgaria.
»We inform you about the cancellation of flights on December 28, 2017, January 3, 2018, and January 10, 2018 on the route "Saint Petersburg-Sofia-Saint Petersburg". This measure is necessary and is due to low flight loading, and is also exacerbated by the force majeure situation we encountered while implementing the flight program to Hainan Island.
"Based on this, the company's management decided to reduce transportation to Sofia and the ski resorts of Bansko, Borovets, and Pamporovo," reads a statement on the operator's website.
For the same reason, flights from 24.12.2017 to 03.03.2018 on the route “Saint Petersburg - Ovda - Saint Petersburg” are cancelled.
As a reminder, it was previously announced that flights from St. Petersburg to China's Hainan Island would be suspended until January 26, 2018. The company notes that refunds for cancelled tours will be issued in full within the timeframes established by Russian law.
