From January 1, 2018, the rules for obtaining visas to Rwanda for Russian tourists will change. An entry visa valid for 30 days will be issued upon arrival in the country at the relevant Rwandan border checkpoints.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, incoming tourists must have passports valid for more than six months from the date of entry into Rwanda. The cost of a visa will be $30. When passing through passport control, it will be necessary to fill out a migration card.
In case a visa extension is required, the tourist can contact the Rwandan Migration Service.
