Russian Railways has introduced a special offer for travel between Moscow and Samara in August. A ticket for an upper berth in a compartment of the double-decker train #49/50 costs 1,199 rubles, while a lower berth costs 1,356 rubles, according to Travel.ru.
Tickets are on sale until October 11, and travel is possible until October 31. The promotion can also be used for shorter routes on this route. In this case, tickets should be purchased for the full Moscow-Samara route and used only for that portion.
