Russian Railways has introduced a special offer for travel between Moscow and Rostov-on-Don. A ticket for an upper berth in a compartment on train #19/20 costs 1,699 rubles, according to Travel.ru.
Tickets are on sale until October 11, and travel is possible from October 23 to November 6. The promotion can also be used for travel on shorter routes on this route. In this case, tickets should be purchased for the full Moscow-Rostov route and used only on that portion.
Furthermore, starting December 9, this train will be significantly accelerated. Instead of the current 17-plus hours, the journey will take about 16. Departure from Moscow is at 6:42 p.m., arriving in Rostov at 10:36 a.m. The return journey departs at 3:22 p.m., arriving in Moscow at 7:35 a.m. The number of stops along the way will remain unchanged.
