Ground transport links to Sochi suspended indefinitely

Train service to Sochi has been suspended indefinitely due to flooding near Tuapse. Trains have been suspended since the afternoon of October 24, according to Travel.ru's correspondent.

Trains from other regions of the country only go to Krasnodar or Armavir. No data on commuter train traffic on the coastal line could be found on the Russian Railways website.

Furthermore, road travel to Sochi has been disrupted. The timeframe for its restoration is also unknown—it will likely take several days. Air travel appears to be the only viable alternative for travel to Sochi.
