Utair Airlines plans to suspend flights to two European destinations during the low season. It will not fly from Moscow to Milan and Vienna from mid-January to the end of April, according to Travel.ru.
The final winter flights on both routes will take place on January 15. Flights to Vienna and Milan will resume daily from April 25. Tickets are available for all days from April 25 to October 26 (the end date of the summer schedule).
The likely reason for the suspension is low demand during the low season. Utair now operates another European route—from Moscow to Munich—only during the New Year holidays (the final departure is scheduled for January 20; summer tickets are currently unavailable). The company's only Western European route—from Moscow to Berlin—remains open year-round.
