The 4th Intourist Regional Tourism Forum will be held in Russia.

On February 4, 2019, the tour operator Intourist launches its large-scale exhibition project, the IV Regional Tourism Forum. This year, it will be held in eight Russian cities and will serve as the main venue for meetings and collaboration between tourism businesses in each city. implementation.

 

 

As the company's press service told TRN, the Regional Tourism Forum is being held at the initiative of the tour operator Intourist with the support of the Federal Tourism Agency and regional tourism ministries and departments.

In 2019, the Regional Tourism Forum expanded its geography and will be held in eight major Russian cities: Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Samara, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Sochi, and Moscow.

The forum kicks off on February 4 in Novosibirsk, where it will be held for the first time, and concludes on March 11 in Moscow. Over the course of two days in each host city (except Moscow, where the forum will be held for one day), tourism industry representatives will be able to meet and present Russian resorts, national tourism offices, airlines, and domestic and international hoteliers. In total, there are more than 50 exhibitors participating.

Over 6,000 active tourism industry representatives, including directors and senior managers of travel agencies, are expected to attend the forum. Each participant will be required to pre-register and will receive a participant passport on the first day of the forum. As per tradition, the forum will focus on the development of domestic tourism. Representatives from the Republic of Crimea, the resort city of Sochi, St. Petersburg, and other countries will present year-round wellness and excursion opportunities.
